MLA 9 Works Cited Examples

Correct MLA 9th-edition Works Cited entries for the sources students cite most. MLA uses full author names, the word "and" (not "&"), title-case titles, a hyphen in page ranges, and ends every entry with a period.

Journal article

Note: MLA drops the https:// from a plain URL, italicizes the website name, and writes dates as Day Month Year (e.g., 25 Apr. 2013).
